Sugar Chef Jennifer Ladisky has been creating custom designed wedding and special occasion cakes for years. A graduate of the esteemed Johnson & Wales’ Baking and Pastry Arts program, Jennifer Ladisky spent six years on the competitive circuit, earning awards against the regions’ top pastry chefs under the scrutiny of judges representing the industry’s premier talents has been further honored to design for New York City’s prestigious James Beard House, and now brings her creations to clients throughout South Florida. Some of the Sugar Chef’s clients include Celine Dion and Past Presidents.

Jennifer started Sugar Chef, creating wedding and special occasion cakes, in 2007. Since then, Jennifer has created many award winning flavors and designs. So many of Sugar Chef’s specialty occasion cake clients have made requests for cupcakes over the years that Jennifer decided to open a retail cupcake boutique called Sugar Chef Cupcakes. “We may not be the first to open a cupcake store, but we are the first to approach it as a mini-dessert experience” says Ladisky. With almost 20 flavors on any given day, the only difficult decision is whether to get a signature cupcake with a decadent filling like caramel or cheesecake or a classic cupcake with a single flavor cake and buttercream icing.

Sugar Chef Cupcakes only uses the finest fresh ingredients, never uses any artificial product and never freezes its product. Jennifer Ladisky has a passion for the best cupcakes and special occasion cakes, she takes a never compromise approach when it comes to her pastry creations.

In addition to the gourmet cupcakes, when you visit Sugar Chef Cupcakes you can browse albums with hundreds of photos of the birthday cakes, wedding cakes, and shower cakes that Sugar Chef is most famous for producing. “Many people compare us to Cake Boss or Ace of Cakes, and we like to say that we were making fanciful cakes before they were on TV” says Ladisky. Sugar Chef even has a cake concierge in the store during peak times to help you design a custom cake for your special event.
