Q.  Can I visit the store?

A.  Please do, we are located in the City Place shopping center at the main intersection of Rosemary Avenue and Hibiscus St. under the Harriett Himmel Theater [Locations].  Our hours of operation can be found here [Locations].

Q.  Shipping

A.  We are currently evaluating the best way to ship our delicious creations, but at this time we are not able to guarantee they arrive in the same condition they are packed, so we do not ship.

Q.  Pick-Up Cupcake Orders

A.   Any orders made through our online store are available for pick up at our City Place store within 1 hour of placing the order during normal store hours [Locations].  Since we bake fresh daily, any orders of more than 3 dozen cupcakes are treated as ‘special orders’ and are subject to availability for same day pick up, but are always available with 24 hours notice.

Q.  Delivery

 We are currently evaluating demand for delivery.  At this time, we are happy to deliver any orders of 3 dozen or more with 24 hours notice.  Delivery charge may apply.

Q.  How long are they fresh?

 Our customers love our cupcakes so much, that they rarely seem to make it out the door with leftovers.  Our cupcakes are made using only fresh and natural ingredients and we use no preservatives.  However, if you happen to find yourself in the unique situation of making home with some untouched, or are gifting our little creations, we suggest that for optimal flavor and quality, that our cupcakes are consumed within 2 days of purchase if refrigerated or 24 hours at room temperature. 

Q.  Advance Orders

 We are happy to fulfill any advance cupcake orders.  We take orders up to 90 days in advance if needed for you to plan your perfect event.  We do require that payment in full be made for all advance orders.

Q.  Special Orders

Since we are a chef driven company, we love special orders.  Special orders can take many different forms.  Any order of 3 dozen cupcakes or more are considered special, as we only bake a small quantity of products fresh daily, and want to be sure your flavors of choice are available.  Other examples of special orders could be dietary restrictions, custom flavors, or custom designs.  All of our cupcakes are handmade so we can modify them as needed.   Minimum quantity orders may apply for special orders.

Q.  Wholesale Pricing

Over the past 3 years, we have proudly provided our products to catering facilities, restaurants, event halls and resorts.  For these clients we are happy to make special arrangements for pricing due to volume.  Please contact us by phone if you are interested in providing our product at your event or facility.

Q.  Sugar free dietary restrictions?

 We are happy to provide many of our cupcake flavors in a sugar free recipe to accommodate this special diet.  Minimum orders of 3 dozen apply for this special order.

Q.  Gluten free and other special diets?

Although we can provide gluten free recipes for our cakes [cakes] we have not perfected this modification for our cupcake recipe in a way that properly represents the flavor and quality that Sugar Chef is known for. We are able and happy to provide a Vegan or Vegetarian Cupcake for those following those diets.  

Q.  Kosher?

We do not use any meat products in our baking (lard) which has been referred to as Kosher Dairy, but we do not have a kosher bakery nor do we use certified kosher ingredients.
